In order to focus on the quality of your vision and providing you with superior service while you are our guest here in Istanbul, we have chosen not to work with health insurance companies. We only accept healthy eye laser surgery candidates like you and a maximum of ten patients per day. We are the only center in Turkey which has such high standards of service. Even though there are a few centers in Turkey which have ISO-9000 quality management system for their hospitals none of them has an ISO-9000 for “Advanced Eye Laser Treatments” like ours.
As one of our quality inspectors stated: ”EyeSTAR’s quality standards are beyond any quality management system available. It is a piece of work which can only be done by people who are in love with their work.”

Service exclusively designed for health tourism
More than 90% of our patients come from abroad (lowest 80% in a month). That makes us more aware of your special needs. We focus to make your travel enjoyable, safe, fun and highly rewarding. Most of our patients can’t believe that an eye surgery operation can be that fun and easy and giving such good results at the same time. We also cover by insurance all the risks related to the travel if requested by our patients (AXA or Assurance Suisse ).

Leading new technologies
Our doctors are proud users of one of the first commercially available excimer lasers in the world (serial no 0001). We are the third center in the world to use ACT Laser and UV Cross-Link treatment for Keratoconic corneas (Reference – company CEO Satish Herekar). We are the second center in the world to start the safest LASIK modality S-LASIK and the newest laser treatment for presbyopia (getting rid of the reading glasses) super presby LASIK.

State of the art Loop Design Operating Room
Unique in Turkey and one of a few in the world..
Loop design is the most advanced operating theater design where cleaned patients never encounter unclean subjects during surgery and immediate recovery time. Besides Hepa/ULPA air cleaning systems, UV-C radiation and positive pressure chamber approach, this design has additional benefits.
Prohibiting cross-contamination is probably the most difficult task in OR design. Loop design made us this difficult task easy to achieve. Since the start of use this OR in 2005 we have 0 infection case and 0 SOS (DLK) case. These complications are often expressed in 2 digits percentage in Hospitals whereas we have none. We think that besides our caring approach this type of OR design has helped us for this success.
